We’ve followed trails, collected eggs and munched our Easter chocolate and now it’s time for the 2 week Easter break. School’s out and the kids are ready to be entertained. And while it might be a little late to book them into childcare clubs, there’s still plenty to do.

Pennells is putting on two fab Easter events this Easter break. This is the first of two, and the event this week children’s entertainer, Magic Merlin makes an appears to wow the crowds with his magical ways.

Messy Play Easter Eggstravaganza Cleethorpes
The Crescent Community Hub, 10:30-11:30
Book ahead to get a place on this Easter themed messy play eggstravaganza. Prepare to get messy along with your tot and take part in a traditional Easter egg hunt while you’re at it. My daughter has been to a messy play session with this group and I can’t recommend it enough!
Little Lincs Family Skate
Grimsby Health & Wellbeing Centre, 3:30-5
Get your skates on for a fun family skating session at the Grimsby Health and Wellbeing Centre. Suitable for your little ones up to age 12. All children need to be accompanied by an adult and booking in advance is required. To book you have to head down in person and you can book up to 6 days in advance.
£4.00 admission + £1.10 for skate hire if needed.
Aqua Disco
Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, 6:30-8pm
The iconic aqua disco is still running through this school holiday and you can expect to find water, waves and cool musical soundtrack. The slide will also be open for some extra splashy fun. Under 8s need to be accompanied by an adult, with a ratio of 2 children under 8 to one adult.
Booking in advance is advised (it can get very busy) and you can do that by heading down in person up to 6 days before.

Saturday 6th April
Children’s T-Shirt Printing Workshop
The Sewing Hut, 10am-12pm
This workshop shows children how to create prints on T-shirts. They can draw a picture on paper and will be shown how to transfer it using sublimation. Booking is essential and it costs £20 per person to cover materials and other costs of the session.
Inflatable Session – Deep Water
Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, 3:30-5pm
Head down to the deep end for a splash about and try to conquer the big inflatables in the deep water. This is a session for confident swimmers and under 8s need to accompanied by an adult.
£5.80 per person.
Roller Disco
Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, 6-8pm
Get your skates on and prepare to disco in this fun roller disco setting. It’s a popular event, so be sure to book in advance if you can.
£5.20 + £1.10 skate hire.
Sunday 7th April
Inflatable Session – Shallow Water
Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, 9-10:30am
The inflatables come out in the shallow water for those smaller swimmers out there. This session is for people who are 130cm or under and all children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Monday 8th April

Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, 6:30-7:45
Head down to the deep end for a splash about and try to conquer the big inflatables in the deep water. This is a session for confident swimmers and under 8s need to accompanied by an adult.
