Easter Eggspress

Cleethorpes Coastal Light Railway, times vary

Cleethorpes Coastal Light Railway is running the Easter Eggspress again this Easter weekend. Bring your kids down to the boating lake for a fun ride on the trains, take part in the bunny trail to earn prizes, and meet the Easter bunny. No need to book, just turn up for the fun.

Easter Fun at Nunny’s Farm

Nunny’s Farm, 10am – 3pm

Once Upon a party have teamed up with Nunny’s farm to bring their big rabbit characters to meet the families this weekend. Take photos with the bunnies, walk the animals for £1.50 and enjoy the rest of the farm. Alice in Wonderland activities will be running all weekend too!

Easter Fun Day at Freemo Market – FREE ENTRY

Freeman Street Market, 10am-4pm

Head down to Freemo market for free Easter eggs, bouncy castles, games and crafts. Don’t forget to visit the stall while you’re there and see the lovely vendors.

Easter Egg Hunt Top Town Market – FREE

Top Town Market 10am-3pm

Get the kids involved in a fun Easter Egg hunt and flex those colour skills with a colouring competition while you’re there. Prizes are sweet treats – perfect for Easter weekend!

Peter Rabbit Visits Freshney Place – FREE

Freshney Place 11am-3pm

A free event put on by Freshney Place sees Peter Rabbit hop into the shopping centre and great the kids at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. While you’re waiting for big Pete, you can take part in the free Easter Egg treasure hunt, face painting and crafts. A great place to head for free fun, you could always head to the market while you’re nearby for a double whammy of fun!

Easter Egg Hunt Haverstoe Park Pavillion – WARM SPACE

Haverstoe Park, 11am-3pm

Join in with the Easter Egg hunt for £2 per sheet which includes sweet treats. Haverstoe Park Pavillion is a greta place to visit with the kids, with the play park outside and lots of green space for kids to run around on. There will also be crafts but they need booking in advance so may be full, but definitely work enquiring – here’s the number 07849696726.

Haverstoe Park Pavillion also have a warm space menu, so if you want to take your kids out for some Easter fun but worry about costs, the play equipment is free and you can order off the warm space menu – no questions asked!

The Pavillion, Freshney Drive, Grimsby 10am- 1pm

Hunt along the Duke of York Gardens tree trail for the Easter Egg Hunt and take part in arts and crafts activities. It’s all free, so head down for some wallet-friendly fun.

Butt Lane Playing Fields, Laceby, 10am-3pm

A day of Easter fun including:

  • Penalty Shoot Out (10am)
  • The Chocolat Story Easter Egg Hunt followed by workshops (11am)
  • Dog Show hosted by Buddy’s Bites, Pup Star Treats and Paw Sister Society, 12pm
  • Egg & Spoon Race, Welly Throwing and Tug of War (1.30pm to 3pm)

Book in advance to have brunch with the Easter bunny and get involved with an Easter Egg hunt. Don’t worry, they probably won’t serve rabbit food to the people (or people food to the rabbit!)
