If you’re going away to a nearby seaside this year, you’re probably wondering what to pack. After all, if you beach holidays are usually spent abroad, then you’re looking at an entirely different wardrobe for the UK.
Sure, the UK beaches can be warm and sunny, but your outfits might need a little more thought.
I love to pack a handful of clothes, jewellery and accessories to make up some fun, striking outfits.
Below are my favourite things to pack when it comes to accessorising on a UK holiday.

Choose Shoes Carefully
Depending on when your holiday is, you might get away with just packing a pair of sandals and calling it quits. After all, in the middle August, you can expect sun, sun and more sun!
The only trouble is, English weather loves to throw in a surprise rainstorm so you might want to be prepared.
I recommend travelling down in your trainers. That way you’ve got comfy shoes on-hand, but they’re not taking up lots of room in your case.
Secondly, flip flops are a must. They’re pretty flat to pack, they can be worn with most summer outfits and they’re essential for spending time on the beach.
If you think some nights out might be on the cards, don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes!
Pack a Versatile Necklace
The key for packing is to travel light. Pack accessories that will go with all your clothes and elevate every outfit.
Silver jewellery is great for the summer. It twinkles in the sunlight and goes well with tanned skin and summer clothes.
One necklace, or even a couple of stacking necklaces will dress up every outfit. It’s an easy way to be on-trend.
Don’t Forget Your Sun Hat
Sun hats stop your head from burning but they can also be a great fashion accessory.
A wide-brimmed sun hat can keep your head cook and look amazing. Pair your sun hat with your bikini, a maxi dress or a sundress to help you look like you’ve just strutted off a summer catwalk.
Rings on Your Fingers and Toes
Wearing rings is fab way to add sparkle but pack light.
Wear rings on your fingers and rings on your toes for a fun holiday style. Toe rings are coming back and regular rings never went away!
Most jewellery can be worn for all occasions, so why not invest in a few new pieces to debut on your UK break.
Get Your Nails Done
Okay, so a manicure isn’t technically an accessory, but it might as well be!
I love a gel manicure for a special occasion, and a beach holiday is just that.
I find getting your nails done professionally with gels lasts loads longer than any other manicure. This means no chips, flakes or scrapes and perfect nails for the whole holiday.
If I were planning ahead, I’d pack my bag, analyse the colours then choose what you’ll have on your nails to match. If you’re daring you could even add some nail art for an extra special finish.
