Christmas is just around the corner, so it’s not surprise you’re searching real Christmas trees Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and all over the local area. I must confess, I’ve never had a real Christmas tree before, but can’t deny that nothing quite beats the smell of fresh pine or the look of natural needles on those lovely green branches.
There are a few different types of natural Christmas trees, but it’s mostly down to personal preference. It might be worth doing your own research if you have a small space, pets or allergies, just to make sure there’s nothing you should avoid.

Tips for helping your tree last longer
- To aid water absorption, cut about an inch off the bottom of the trunk. This helps get rid of the dried out, less absorbent bottom of the tree from where it was originally cut before sale.
-
Keep the tree away from hot areas like radiators, stoves and fire places. This can cause it to try out and kill it before its time.
- Hydration, hydration, hydration! Your tree is likely to be thirsty when you first get it home and can absorb around 4L of water for the first few days in its new home. Keep an eye on it and top up the water if it’s getting through it easily.
